The St. John Learning Center promotes 
literacy, learning and leadership in the community.

The St. John Learning Center grew out of the parish and applied for separate nonprofit status in the early 1990s.  Since that time, the St. John Learning Center has been independent from the parish and yet continues to work closely with the parish to address the needs of adult learners in the surrounding community.  

Over 300 individuals obtained their G.E.D. through St. John Learning Center programs in 2014.  Many others took computer classes, and attended job fairs and health fairs.  The St. John Learning Center is now expanding to offer anger management workshops and a greater number of opportunities not only for adults, but youth.  

Please support the St. John Learning Center by praying the prayer of St. Thomas Aquinas during the week of April 12th:

Grant me, O Lord my God,
a mind to know you,
a heart to seek you,
wisdom to find you,
conduct pleasing to you,
faithful perseverance in waiting for you,
and a hope of finally embracing you.
